Öz

This study aims to examine the translation into Turkish from the fourth edition of the book titled “Academic Writing a Handbook for International Students” written by Stephen Bailey. The original of the book was published in 2014, and the publisher of the original edition is Routledge. In the book, Bailey aims to assist undergraduate and graduate students with their academic writing assignments in English. Although the book is aimed at international students and improving their academic writing skills in English, in this Turkish translation, the basic spelling rules are given comparatively for both English and Turkish, and the differences are explained. The book is not only for undergraduate and graduate students but also for articles, assignments, thesis, reports, etc. It is an essential resource for all researchers who want to write scientific and academic writing
